As for me, my husband is off on a job which is par for course. As I have mentioned before, Trevor is in the oilpatch, so if he isn't on days off, he is out on a job. So, it is me and my boy and it is quiet.
But considering the circumstances, earlier this week I non-chalantly asked Trevor what he was doing for me for Mother's Day, to which he responded in a smart ass tone,
"I'll let you call your Mother."
Oh thank you oh so much darling! How can I ever repay you? hee hee
And knowing his first remark made me giggle, I asked him again a couple of days later as he was putting together a lawnmower. "What are you getting me for Mother's Day?"
"I'll let you use my new lawnmower."
But he jests. So what did he do for me? He got me this Sauder storage organizer from Canadian Tire. Perfect for storing scrappy things! And if it is not too late to bug your hubby's or you want one for yourself, it is in this week's flyer.
I will warn you, it is a bit tedious to assemble, but way worth the effort. Organization in my scrap room, I see the light!
And in the spirit of Mother's Day, I created some Prima Paintables projects for Allison Orthner's scrapbooking segment on Calgary's Breakfast Television.
She featured Paintables because it can be a great products to create with you kids.
I'll make sure that I post the video when Allison posts the clip. I am impatiently waiting to see myself!
Thanks for stopping by and may your day be absolutely...............
